Girl Friend was rescued July 4, 2018, crossing Ben Madoxx between Nobel and Tulare. Lucky for her a nice guy passing by picked her up. He brough her to a Love of Animals foster home he had worked with before. 

Her foster mom ran ads in a couple of areas hoping to find her family but no one called. She was in heat the day she came so her foster so thankfully all but one other male foster was already neutered so she didn't have to be kept separate from all the canines. 

Girl Friend got her name because she just wants to be loved and be with you. She is learning the potty pad and doing very well. She also is crated at night with no acidents. She has been spayed, given 2 sets of vaccines, micro-chipped and received the rabies vaccine.

As with any new companion, it is wise to spend good quality time with them and let them explore their new surrounding while you set the boundaries. It is also good to make sure they have a "special" area they can escape to when company comes. This will make both you and your companion have a much better relationship.

Love of Animals will screen potential adoption parents to ensure the companion WILL NOT be a fighting dog.
