If you are interested, have questions, or to schedule a personal viewing for this companion only, please contact Ms. Laurie Jane Eberle, volunteer for Love of Animals, Visalia Division, Visalia, California, at 559-697-5070 or laurie@loveofanimals.org.
Pops is very shy and will need time to adjust. When he was transfered to his new foster home in July 2012, he stayed near the front door and his foster mom had to gently place a slip leash over his head so she could get him so she could hold him. Once she had him, he would settle down and allow her to hold and love on him.
It is now March 2013 and Pops is doing great. Really does not care for smaller kids as he has snapped at them from his crate at the adoption site. This could just be due to him not being able to get away. Has really come out of his shell and is more social now and loves to be loved. Will need a sweater as he does chill easy.
Foster mom will update his bio as time goes on so please keep this little guy in your thoughts.
As with any new companion, it is wise to spend good quality time with them and let them explore their new surrounding while you set the boundaries. It is also good to make sure they have a "special" area they can escape to when company comes. This will make both you and your companion have a much better relationship.
