Leo was neutered on 8/16/2013, which is also when he got his DHLPP-C, Bordatella & Rabies shots.  He is really affectionate dog with people and gets along well with dogs of all sizes.  He currently is the only one that runs and plays with the puppies non-stop so I'm guessing he must not be too old because of the amount of energy he has compared to my other dogs.

He knows how to use the doggy door and sleeps in a kennel at night only because he and my oldest, grumpy terrier do not get along, but he is the only one that he doesn't care for.

Leo was a stray I found a few months ago and posted notice with VOSPCA to see if someone would claim him before I had him altered and no one did.  He followed the neighbors female Chihuahua home I think because she was in heat and is constantly getting out and running the neighborhood (which is where the 5 puppies came from).  Luckily I have found home for all 5 puppies so I only need to find homes for Leo.

As with any new companion, it is wise to spend good quality time with them and let them explore their new surrounding while you set the boundaries. It is also good to make sure they have a "special" area they can escape to when company comes. This will make both you and your companion have a much better relationship.
